No-ImageTonight almost a week after his body was found between two tombs inside the New Cemetery here in Orange Walk Town the identity of John Doe is yet to be ascertained. A post mortem examination conducted on his body earlier today however, concluded cause of death as Acute Craneo encephalic traumatic injuries as a consequence of blunt force traumatic injuries to the head.


John Doe’s body, viewers may remember, was discovered shortly before two on Thursday afternoon between two tombs inside a mausoleum that is located just a few feet from the entrance to the cemetery.  The body was discovered with extensive injuries to the head and face after being bludgeoned to death with a concrete cross


At this time Police continue to seek the public’s assistance in trying to identify the victim. Anyone with information is asked to contact the nearest police station or call crime Stoppers Belize at 922.
