NoImageThe Opposition People’s United Party today announced new appointments to the Senate.

The three Senators are Michel Chebat, Isabel G. Bennett and Dr. Louis Zabaneh.


They are replacing Eamon Courtenay, Paul Thompson and Valerie Woods. The Party expressed gratitude to them for their work and service to the country.


The new Senators will be sworn in at a Special Sitting of the Senate to be held on Friday, 30th August 2019.


The Party also announced that Leader of the Opposition, Hon. John Briceño, has resumed full time work at his Belize City office. According to the release, Briceno’s doctors are satisfied by his progress and have cleared his return to work.
