NoImageTwo men are tonight detained at the Orange Walk Police station for questioning in Friday night’s armed robbery of the warehouse belonging to La Panificadora Popular Limited, located at the corner of Progress and San Francisco Streets here in Orange Walk Town.

As we told you in Monday night’s newscast twenty-two-year-old Clemente Jones, an employee of the establishment reported to authorities that while at work shortly after ten, three male persons entered the establishment, one of whom pointed what appeared to be a firearm at him and proceeded to rob the establishment of an undisclosed amount of cash. During the hold up the thieves also made off with one Savage brand 12-gauge pump action shotgun valued at three thousand five hundred dollars, one Smith and Wesson Brand .38 pistol valued at three thousand dollars along with five 12 Gauge cartridges and seven .38 rounds of ammunition along with a magazine.

No charges have been levied against the two individuals at this time as police investigations continue.
