faceappIf you have recently been on social media, chances are you might have come across the newest viral trend called “FaceApp”. The app uses photos from your phone to show what an older or younger version of yourself could look like. This newest trend has already taken the internet by storm and reports are that there are more than one hundred million users of the app worldwide, including here in Belize where the app has become quite popular over the past few days. Well if you are one of those persons who is using the “FaceApp” you might want to listen closely to the following report carried out by an international media who is reporting possible security breaches associated with the app.

According to American news outlet BBC news, US Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer has called for an investigation into FaceApp, calling the app “deeply troubling”
