PSETwo months ago, seven thousand and fifteen students across the country sat the Primary School Examination. After much anticipation today the 2019 PSE results were released by the Ministry of Education and we are proud to report that five students from the Orange Walk district made it to the coveted top twenty-five for the entire country this year. The top performer this year was Jasmine Espat from St. Andrew Anglican Primary School in the Cayo district who received a score of 386 of 400 points. (PSE TOP 25)

Here in the North, with a total of 375 of a possible 400 points, La Inmaculda RC School student Ayana Campus topped at the district level placing 6th in the top 25. Joining Ayana, also from La Inmaculada RC School were Johan Nah in the tenth spot, Victoria Constanza who is eleventh and Astrill Garcia who tied with Alexander Gutierrez from San Estevan RC school for the 12th spot.

We would like to take this time to extend congratulations to all students who successfully sat the 2019 PSE and in particular to this year’s top performers especially those from the North. We will have interviews with all five top performers from the Orange Walk District in Tuesday’s newscast.
