Screen_Shot_2019-05-29_at_7.43.05_PMToday the results of the post mortem examination conducted on the body of 52 year old candy vendor Jesus Mossiah was released. The report indicates the Corozal resident died as a result of Asphixia broncoaspiration of bloody contents due to blunt force traumatic craniofacial spinal cord injuries. Mossiah found his death on the night of Saturday May 25th after he became involved in an altercation with 28 year old Sadam Jose Vasquez, a shop attendant of Corozal Town. When police arrived on 7th Avenue they found Mossiah lying on the ground motionless with a large laceration to his right side of his forehead and right temple. Reports suggest he was struck with a piece of cement block during the altercation with Vasquez and died while receiving treatment. Vasquez has been charged with manslaughter and remanded to prison after bail was denied.
