Screen_Shot_2018-02-06_at_7.59.30_PMThe Elections and Boundaries office has released the details of the Municipal Elections Nomination Day exercise scheduled for Wednesday, February 21st 2018 in all municipalities. Nomination Day is held for hopefuls to officially become candidates once they meet the criteria.

 


For Corozal and Orange Walk Towns, the nomination of candidates will take place from 10am to 4pm.

The Returning Officer for Corozal Town is Alma Gomez, while for Orange Walk Town it is Hugo Miranda.

The actual nomination of candidates for each party is normally preceded by some fanfare, and as the schedules are worked out and concluded, we will be passing on the information to our viewers.
