Screen_Shot_2018-01-03_at_7.42.40_PMTwenty two year old Carlos Phillips, a resident and plumber of Corozal Town, was summoned at the Corozal Magistrate’s Court yesterday to answer to the charges of ‘Aggravated Assault’ and ‘discharging a firearm in public’ after another resident, Vernice Crawford, launched a report against him indicating that on December 28th, 2017, Phillips allegedly pointed a firearm at her whilst in her yard and then proceeded to fire several shots in the air.


Phillips pled not guilty to the charges, therefore, Magistrate Patricia Arana ordered that he be remanded into police custody until the 13th of February 2018, where he is scheduled to re-appear in court.
