Screen_Shot_2017-07-12_at_8.16.54_PMTonight, the never ending battle on drugs has landed two Corozal men behind bars after Orange Walk Police busted them with a significant amount of weed.

 


At about 10:05 this morning, a vehicular checkpoint was conducted near the Establo roundabout, by Orange Walk police where a grey Ford Van was intercepted and searched, leading to the discovery of two parcels of suspected cannabis. Both packages were transported to the Orange Walk Police station where they were weighed amounting to ten kilograms and one kilogram respectively. As a result,  31 year old Jose Garcia, a driver for the courier service, BPMS and his sideman 30 year old Brian Hernandez , both of Halls layout in Corozal were transported to the Orange Walk Police station pending charges of Drug Trafficking.
