While murder occurred in Carolina Village, in Corozal Town last night, on Saturday two American Nationals had to fight for their lives when their home was invaded by a group of criminals. Norman Montgomery Dunsmore, his wife Barba Dunsmore and their son Norman Zane Dusmore were at home on the 24th of July when around 9:20pm three men entered their residence located in the Finca Solana Area. The men, only identified as two of Hispanic decent and one of Creole decent, were armed with machetes and knives. According to Barba Dunsmore, she was inside her bedroom when she heard loud noises coming from the living room. When she went to check what was wrong she saw her husband and son struggling with the assailants. During the struggle Norman Montgomery was stabbed to the right side of the chest while his son received a cut to the left side of his face and left foot. When both father and son put up a fight the men left the area but not before grabbing a silver chain from Barba Dunsmore’s neck. Police say they believe the three assailants were also injured during the struggle, and they are in search of suspects. |
